SPOTLIGHT ON ART
AGAWAM COMMUNITY ARTISTS AND ARTISANS
Each month the Agawam Community Artists and Artisans Spotlight one of their members.
This month in the “Spotlight” is Dave Nevue, a realistic graphite artist from Connecticut.
Dave grew up in Western Massachusetts. He became interested in drawing as a young child and was encouraged by family to practice different mediums. He became interested in playing the guitar in his teens and continues to teach guitar in Connecticut.
He has used different mediums over the years but has been working with pastels for the past 3 years. Dave’s love of animals has driven his subject choices and strives to capture their unique characteristics.
Dave’s attention to detail allows him to create a photo-realistic painting. He has recently begun painting beach themed artwork due his vacation time spent on Cape Cod. He has a website www.nevuefineartmarketing.com
Dave will be an exhibitor at the 3rd Annual Arts and Crafts Festival sponsored by the Agawam Community Artists and Artisans on Saturday, August 27 and Sunday, August 28, 2022.
The Festival will take place at 139 Southwick Street Feeding Hills, Ma.
