About the event

Share-A-Palooza is one of our most popular and energetic gatherings! This special meeting features six member artists demonstrating how they create their unique styles of art. Some demonstrations will be hands-on, and audience members may be invited to participate in creating a piece of artwork.

Featured Artist Demonstrations

  • Carolyn Maloney

A hands-on demonstration on perspective and how to use it to create depth in painting or drawing. Carolyn is proficient in oil painting, calligraphy, sketching, book illustration, and mural work.

  • Kim Velky

Demonstrating Fast Floral, an easy and fun acrylic flower painting technique. Participants are encouraged to try their hand at painting one of these beautiful floral pieces.

  • Christina Nasuti

Demonstrating how to apply sequins to a Styrofoam egg—perfect timing for Easter gifting. Christina is also well known for her seashell creations and won Best of Show at the December 2026 Agawam Public Library Art Exhibit for Owl on Wood.

  • Donna Carmel

Working with gelli plate printing, Donna will demonstrate dendritic printing. These organic designs can be used on fabric, as textures in paintings, in mixed media, or as backgrounds on paper and fabric.

  • Joe Burger

A watercolor artist who began his art journey with classic aircraft drawings in pencil before expanding into watercolor and pastel. Joe currently teaches private lessons and workshops and will present a demonstration on simple watercolor techniques.

  • Gail Cortis

An expert in alcohol inks, Gail will demonstrate their use on fabric. Participants will have the opportunity to create a small make-and-take project.
