ACAA  Mission Statement:

Our mission is to promote and encourage community participation in and develop an awareness and appreciation of the arts.

To that end we will:

 • Offer opportunities to connect Agawam and surrounding communities via the arts.
 • Encourage camaraderie and support among local artists and artisans.
 • Provide opportunities and events to support and encourage artistic exhibition.
 • Offer educational art opportunities to all ages and skill levels.
 • Provide experiences that will raise awareness of the arts and promote their relevance in the lives of our community.
 • Promote the arts via scholarship awards to those pursuing art centric careers.

We meet at the Agawam Public Library, 750 Cooper Street Agawam, MA. on the 2nd Wednesday of every month. Our meetings begin at 6:00 p.m. After a short business meeting our demonstration will begin.  We post our monthly meeting information on this web page and on our Facebook page. The Agawam Community Artists and Artisans offer members and guests an opportunity to share their art, learn new techniques or begin a new and exciting hobby. At each meeting we sponsor a professional artist or artisan who will demonstrate their skills in a free and open-to-the-public presentation. We have workshops that offer exciting new ideas with hands-on projects hosted by a knowledgeable artist or artisan.  We sponsor an amazing Art Festival in August  and a Holiday Art Show in December. Our  art is exhibited at Cooper’s Commons at 159 Main Street in Agawam. All of the art is for sale and no commission is taken. In addition, our member art is being shown at the Agawam Senior Center on the second floor in the cases, also for sale. We are an exciting group, always promoting art in our community. We advertise in printed news and on social media. Please join us and help promote art in our community and surrounding areas.
