THE NEW ENGLAND MOSAIC PROJECT
The New England Mosaic is a 24 ft. wall of 6 x 6 canvases representing New England around a theme. This year’s theme is “New England’s Seasons: Beauty, Bounty, and Favorite Pastimes.” Displayed together, the canvas “tiles” become a fine art mosaic wall. Finished canvases are donated by their creators to be sold to fund community art projects and art scholarships. The New England Mosaic will be displayed at multiple venues and showcased at the Agawam Community Artists and Artisans’ Pioneer Valley Art Festival and Scantic River’s Art Festival.

THE GLORIA McLELLAN SILENT ART AUCTION
A silent auction will be held for the benefit of the Gloria McLellan Art Scholarship. The scholarship will benefit area high school seniors who are pursuing further education through an established institution or program for the visual arts. Gloria was one of the founding members of the Agawam Community Artists and Artisans. Gloria pursued her love of visual arts, expressing herself in many art forms, and creating art well into her nineties. This scholarship was founded on her belief that artists and artisans should be encouraged and supported by the community.
